First things first a very happy belated Valentines day to you all! February has been a short little month that is almost over however I made sure it was jam packed with lots of fun and memories!
Most importantly it was the Superbowl which the NY Giants won! according to Americans its like England winning the World Cup so its a pretty big deal! We got into the spirt of things we enjoyed some beer, buffalo chicken wings and nachos……oh and the game. Go Giants!
Also ventured out of New York city this month with a trip to Philadelphia. Just 2 small hours on a very comfortable bus (which may i add we made with 2 minutes to spare, the sprint through the subway was epic!) and we were in Philly. An very interesting place, with a variety of very different areas. However we did do the main attraction at Philly – run up the ROCKY STEPS! I felt like a hero once I got to the top my arms were in the air in celebration the only thing i was missing was my bandana! Saw some other great sights like the mini Love sign, the vintage area, the Liberty Bell, many philly steakhouse places and and amazing place called the magic gardens which was a whole area completely covered with mosaic tiles and other ceramic items. After another 2 short hours on the bus we were back in NYC!
And just though i would also throw in a few pictures of New York on a general night, a stroll through Times Square and dinner fun!
